Privacy notice

The short version
MoneyPaths is built so that it has almost nothing to know about you. There are no accounts, no cookies and no advertising. The numbers you type into the calculator are processed only inside your own browser. They are never sent to us or to anyone else, and they are not stored anywhere. The only measurement is an aggregate, cookie-free count of visits, described under 'Visit statistics' below.
What happens in your browser
Every calculation runs on your own device, in your browser. The page does not transmit your inputs, your results, or anything derived from them. If you close the tab, they are gone. Downloaded files (such as the CSV schedule) are created on your device and never pass through a server.
What our hosting provider sees
Like every website, the files that make up this site are delivered by a hosting provider - for this site, Cloudflare. To deliver a page, the provider's servers briefly process your IP address and standard connection details, and may keep short-lived logs of them for security and to keep the service running. That processing happens for delivery and protection of the service (legitimate interests), not for tracking, and we do not receive or use it to identify visitors.
Visit statistics
The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and measure page performance. It is cookie-free: it stores nothing on your device, does not track you across other sites, and does not collect what you type into the tools. We see only aggregate figures, such as how many people viewed a page. This measurement runs as part of delivering the service (legitimate interests).
Gratuities and payments
MoneyPaths offers an optional thank you gratuity. If you choose to leave one, the payment is handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor, on Stripe's own pages. We never see or store your card details.
When you leave a thank you gratuity, we receive confirmation details in our Stripe account - typically your name, email address and the amount. We use these details only to process the payment, provide a receipt, and meet our accounting duties, and we keep them for as long as tax rules require.
How Stripe uses your information is governed by Stripe's own privacy policy.
Your rights
UK data-protection law gives you rights over personal data, including access and erasure. Because this site does not collect or keep personal data about you, there is normally nothing for us to look up or delete - but you can always ask.
If you are unhappy with how a data matter has been handled, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
